High School senior gathers cards for soldiers

For half her life, Holley Cunningham has participated in service projects around her December birthday -- finding it more fulfilling to give rather than get.
And this year's no different for the 17-year-old Resurrection High School senior, who has challenged her peers across two school districts to write cards to American soldiers during the holiday season.
Cunningham says the response has been overwhelming, and in approximately one week she expects to be sending more than 1,000 signed cards to the national headquarters of the American Red Cross which, through its Holiday Mail for Heroes program, will disperse the cards to servicemen and women around the world.
