Happy Holidays from the South Central MS Chapter

Twas the night before Gustav and all through the South,
Every Chapter was stirring, volunteers filled each house…
When out on the parking lot there arose such a clatter,
We sprang from the headquarters to see what was the matter.
Away to the window we flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
With a wink and a honk, they came with great verve,
Everyone knew in a moment it must be the ERV’s!
More ready than ever the teams were all game,
Everyone whistled and shouted, excited they came!
…As it came to an end, most of Gustav stayed out of sight,
Thanks to our donors, volunteers, partners, and to all, a goodnight!
